After the Nike 6.0 Stairset battle at Stuhleck Fuchsi and Rudi went for a 5 hours drive to the coast of Croatia. In Rijeka the one and only in-city rail jam in Croatia, the Gillete Carnival Snowboard Session 2011 took place. The Bamboos have been there the last couple of years and always had some great fun down at the coast of Croatia. This year  20 invited riders had the opportunity to show their skills on 8m downrail and 8 m double kinked rail. Fuchsi had some bad luck. During the trainig session his binding broke so he could hardly ride in the qualification. Contrary to Fuchsi Rudi was on his road to victory. With clean switch front blunt danish and hardway fs 270° into the down rail he showed soem solid tricks. With some hard combos like bs 180 to switch 5050 half cab out and 5050 fs 270 to frontboard on the double kinked he naild it and came first. Rudi was standing on the top of the podium at the Carnival Snowboard Session 2011 Rijeka/Croatia. Hands up for Rudi!

The first month of twenty eleven is over! January was a pretty productive month! The Bamboos had some nice sessions a Stuhleck Snowpark gathered some shots in the streets around Vienna. Did some easy Powderruns at Kitzsteinhorn and Parklaps at Planai Superpark. A part of the Crew was in Polen and later they went to Helsinki together with LOVE and Nitro for some street action! It was a fucking awesome trip, with lot of snow and some nice shots!
Marc had some nice sessions with the finish guys eero, lauri, fredu & heiki.
Last week Felix, Scheps and Heimi tried to catch some powder shots around their winter crib at Filzmoos! The Bamboos are looking forward to February. They are ready for some more action on the streets, in the park and powder!

The 9th and final stop of the Nike 6.0 Stairset Battle Tour on 4 February 2011 at Blue Tomato Snowpark Stuhleck Austria revealed the last qualifier for the big finals. A total of 33 riders battled it out in a heated night session on the stairset in front of 400 spectators for their last chance to win a ticket for the finals. And the Bamboos rocked it. Rudi Janda, Dominik Wagner, Gerlad Fuchs and Seppi Ischep showed up with some good riding. A lot of 270 in and out, rudi frontflipin out and some onefoot action! We are proud that this importanted event took place at our home resort! We are all looking forward to the final in munich! Maybe we can watch some Bamboos there!!
